U-16: Jacob Rusch, Jimmy Edwards (former MYHA player now playing HS hockey with Marshfield Columbus/Mosinee)

Mike Mayeux, former Marshfield Blades hockey player and son of Allyson and Gary Mayeux, has found a new home to continue his hockey career...at Louisianna State University playing for the Tigers.
His mom, Allyson, provided the following information about Mike and the Tigers...
"Mike is currently a junior at LSU majoring in Communications-Advertising. The LSU Ice Hockey Club Team was started last season and played a full 20-game slate. They won a few, but are excited to be back for the second year. The Southeastern Conference (SEC) has formed an Ice Hockey Conference this season, so that when, for example, Georgia or Alabama comes to LSU to play football, the hockey teams will play a 2-game series with LSU. There will also be a conference tournament at the end of the season. Other teams
on the schedule have included teams from Texas (Texas A&M, Baylor)and Louisiana (UL-Lafayette, Tulane, Loyola-New Orleans). They compete in the American Collegiate Hockey Association and will be eligible for a playoff tournament at that level if they do well.
Mike played for the Marshfield HS Blades for 4 years. He served as an
Assistant Captain on the inaugural team last year. He plays D/FW."

Team Sports has enhanced our web site once again. Now registered users are able to view the same tabs as before, but the once previous gray tabs, which were accessible by registered users only, are now red like the others. You are still only able to view these selected tabs as a registered user, as they are programed as "private viewing", so I highly encourage those of you who haven't registered to do so. It only takes a few minutes, and will give you access to "association members only" tabs. Examples of upcoming tabs will be team stats, rosters, and emails. This is just another way of enhancing the privacy and security of our association.
